Equator Coffee Roasters is a community-based, quality-focused, mission-driven coffee roasting company based in Almonte, Ontario. We are looking for an outgoing, fully bilingual coffee professional to Manage our bright and busy location inside the iconic National Arts Centre.
The ideal candidate will thrive in the following areas:
- Be fluent in English and French
- Lead the team in a positive and nurturing manner
- Ensure consistency in service and job procedures among staff
- Provide outstanding customer service and experience
- Be an Equator brand ambassador
- Market and promote the cafes' products
- Maintain high-quality coffee preparation
- Manage café staff and scheduling
- Maintain the café budget, goods and waste
- Follow directions from the general manager and stay on task
- Work a consistent schedule every week (Tues to Sat or Sun to Thurs) 35 hrs/week
- Be outgoing and friendly
Experience:
- Management: 1 year (Preferred), 1 year + specialty coffee
- Barista 1-3 years (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 to $21.00+ /hour
License:
- Food Safe (Preferred)
