Here are the three simple questions you can ask yourself when attempting to choose a brewer:
1. Purpose - Is your coffee drinking hobby or commodity?
By establishing this, you can eliminate brewers that do not fit your purpose. For example, if you are a hobby based coffee drinker you might have a little more interest in exploring the complexities of a more manual brew method like a pour over!
2. Profile - What kinds of coffees are you drinking?
We established how to choose a coffee in last week's video, so if you need a refresher head back to watch again! But as an example, if you know you are drinking a coffee with lots of fun flavours, you will want to choose a brewer that helps those flavours bloom like a Hario V60-02.
3. Practicality - What is your lifestyle like?
Do you pretty much live in the great outdoors - why not try out something portable like an AeroPress? Or maybe you like nice slow aesthetic mornings - give a pour over a try!
